I am offering for sale this charming and rare solid mahogany chair from the Restoration period, circa 1820-1830, in very good overall condition. It features a rare curule-shaped base, and the seat is upholstered in beautiful yellow silk with a pattern of laurel wreaths and imperial bees. This model is attributed to the Jeanselme cabinetmaking firm, which notably supplied the House of Orléans at the Palais-Royal in Paris.
