Chair N° 30 by Kohn, with "slender" front legs and "curved" rear legs; these are the first observations of this harmonious, highly violonné model, where the outer backrest joins the seat belt while the inner part of the backrest is the birth of the rear legs.
This piece dates from 1874, as Kohn began his business in 1868.
Label with 6 medals still visible. Excellent condition.
Total height: 91 cm - seat height 48 cm - diameter: 42 cm - back width: 44 cm.
The canework has been hand-finished with cane from Germany (2.2mmX2.4mm), and will serve for many years to come!
