The wood, with its deep and warm hue, reveals a fine grain enhanced by a waxed patina. The openwork backrest, reminiscent of the cathedral shape, displays a graceful line with turned wood volutes and balusters. The traditional seat is upholstered in a worn green tapestry surrounded by braid. At the front, these chairs rest on sturdy and finely carved double-swelled Jacobean legs.
