Set of 4 bistro chairs by Thonet and Horgen-Glarus(Switzerland), all with seat heights of 47 cm and total heights between 85 and 88 cm. These chairs were all produced between 1905 and 1915, and are in remarkable condition in terms of woodwork, surface and caning.
A deliberately high-end selection.
These are what are commonly known as half-chairs, space-saving and designed to manage space in public places. They usually have a seat height of 46 cm, but 47 cm in this batch, which is more elegant.
Most are stamped and labeled.
