Set of four Empire style gondola chairs in solid mahogany, dating from the beginning of the 19th century. These seats feature the characteristic gondola style profile with a generously curved and enveloping backrest. Entirely upholstered in glossy brown velvet, they are decorated with silver upholstery nails aligned in a crown. The solid mahogany offers a warm patina testifying to good conservation. The frames are robust and stable, in perfect structural condition. The original fabric, although in good condition, can be replaced by the seller's workshops according to your preferences. Seat height: 45 cm. A quality set suitable for reconstituting characterful interiors.
