A sober, elegant and almost "modern" chair
Thonet bistro chair N°142-1/2 with cane seat and foot ring. Ca: 1905
So-called "demi" chairs have dimensions reduced by 5 to 6%, except for the seat height, which remains virtually the same as on standard pieces. In this way, it was possible to save space in bistros.
Stamp under seat (very faint).
- Very good condition - new cane - beautiful cherry-wood shellac varnish, entirely re-stamped.
Seat width: 37 cm, depth: 38 cm - seat height: 46.5 cm - overall height: 84 cm.
