Living room Art Nouveau period Neo-Gothic style sofa and pair of armchairs in walnut

Elegant carved wooden living room from the late 19th - early 20th century, attributable to the Art Nouveau movement, with strong symbolist and neo-Gothic influences.
The tripartite backrest is finely openworked and decorated with stylized motifs with sinuous lines, evoking a plant and fantastic decor characteristic of the 1900 aesthetic. The side uprights, topped with winged shapes, give the whole a rare architectural and theatrical presence.

The structure rests on an openwork base punctuated by arches and sculpted elements, highlighting the decorative research specific to Art Nouveau.
