Louis XIV period oak stool. Late 17th century. It stands on four baluster feet. The legs are turned and faceted. They are joined by an H-shaped spacer, also turned and faceted. Antique strapping and horsehair upholstery. New fabric fitted with studded braid by a professional upholsterer.
