Charming set of square stools in delicately crafted gilded wood resting on four curved legs adorned with acanthus leaves ending in a snail.
Each of these refined seats has a molded structure with four crosspieces cut and sculpted in relief with shells, foliage and geometric patterns.
These four legs are connected at the bottom by a spacer made up of gilded wooden elements joining in the middle by a large engraved rosette. This molded spacer with ogee at the corners is encrusted with floral ornaments in the middle.
The traditional seat is made of straps and horsehair. It is covered with a velvet fabric with a cream background and relief decoration of pink flowers and foliage.
Graceful and light-reflecting, these Louis XIV / Louis XV stools will attract glances and compliments.
