I propose to the sale, this magnificent and rare silver tea service of Napoleon III period in very good general state of conservation. This set is composed of a teapot, a covered sugar bowl and a milk jug. Each piece is decorated with the Minerve hallmark 1 title and the master silversmith Marret and Beaugrand active in Paris from 1854 to 1864 located at 19 rue de la Paix. This exceptional silversmith was notably the supplier of His Majesty the Emperor Napoleon III and many productions of the House have been awarded at the World Fairs.
This service is decorated with a beautiful monogram in English letters "FD".
