    A rare and very beautiful solid silver ewer from the Empire period.

    It bears three different hallmarks: a man's head facing forward with an 8 on the left and a 5 on the right, an eagle's head, and a rooster within a hexagonal hallmark.

    The handle is made of black wood, and the spout is very finely decorated with an eagle's head. The base consists of palmette-shaped tripod feet with claw feet.

    In excellent condition, it could use a polish.
