Elegant fruit scoop, or strawberry scoop for gourmets, in solid silver hallmarked Minerva 1st grade.
The goldsmith's mark is that of Henri Soufflot, Master goldsmith on rue Tubigo in Paris. H S hallmark with a rising sun at the top and a star at the bottom inscribed on April 12, 1884 and crossed out on April 30, 1910.
The spoon is ruddy. It is wavy and delicately chiseled with fine stripes. This meticulous work gives it a seductive and astonishing scallop shell shape!
The piece is clearly Art Nouveau and rich in period details: basket of flowers on each side at the base of the handle, repeated on the back of the spoon.
This scoop, which weighs 87 g, will give elegance to your summer fruit salads or will be an additional refinement in your window.
