Louis XVI style salad bowl in cut and finely engraved Baccarat crystal, star-cut base, solid silver mount - formerly in vermeil of which some traces remain - chiseled with ribboned rushes. Beautiful production from the end of the 19th century or very early 20th century around 1900, in the ideal format to offer a fruit salad, a compote, or various biscuits.
The mount bears the Minerve 1st title hallmark (950 / 1000 silver alloy) and the goldsmith's hallmark of Louis Coignet (Parisian goldsmith active between 1893 and 1928).
The set is in excellent condition. The vermeil is attenuated, still clearly visible on the interior part, and the crystal is very clean (very rare traces of use under the base).
