Very beautiful silver metal tea warmer from the goldsmith Christofle of a famous Marseille shipping company, Messageries Maritimes. The silvering of these pieces consisted of a very good weight to resist the corrosion of sea air, as well as intensive use for restoration. It has a very beautiful engraving with the courier symbol which places it in the 19th century. It is in good silvering condition, although with small traces of dents or scratches due to their intended use and specific to this type of object.
