HIKESHI BANTEN - Japanese fireman's kimono jacket, made from a thick quilted and quilted cotton fabric (sashiko) designed to be filled with water to protect the wearer from burning flames. The lining is entirely decorated with a pattern created using the tsutsugaki technique, a freehand resist-dyeing process on an indigo background.
