Brass "Capucine" clock with 3 doors providing access to the movement.
Large white enamel dial with Roman numerals surrounded by a thin bezel typical of early 19th-century production. Two Breguet-type hands and one hand for the alarm. The bronze gong provides a very clear sound; the handle is brass. It rests on 4 spinning feet.
Dual-plate movement, lever escapement, wire suspension. The winding is adjusted using a thumbwheel on the top plate.
Functions:

Alarm: The alarm time is set by moving the hand counterclockwise to the desired alarm time. Wind the alarm by pulling the string above.

chime : Hour and half-hour strikes on the Passage and on demand by pulling the string located at the bottom left side of the clock.
