Nicolas Pierre François Dubuc, known as Dubuc the Elder

Almost certainly the older brother of the clockmaker Jean-Baptiste-Charles-Gabriel Dubuc, known as “the Younger,” he enjoyed great renown among Paris’s leading watch collectors and established his workshop successively on Rue du Grand-Hurleur, Rue du Grenier-Saint-Lazare, and Rue Michel-Lecomte.
