An elegant early 19th-century French drum clock, resting on an architecturally designed patinated bronze base, richly decorated with a gilt-bronze motif of a vase of flowers framed by garlands.
The circular dial, framed by an openwork gilt-bronze mount, features Roman numerals and two winding openings. Original hands. French work, Empire/Restoration period, circa 1820–1840.
