    Elegant three-piece mantel clock set in patinated regula, dating from the XIXᵉ century, depicting a female figure draped in antique style, seated and reading, a classical allegory of the arts or reflection. The finely modeled sculpture rests on an architectural base of fine veined marble.
    The enameled circular dial with Arabic numerals is framed by a gilded brass bezel. The movement is integrated into a marble block forming the body of the clock. The set is completed by two matching decorative cassolettes, arranged on either side, reinforcing the symmetry and decorative character of the piece.
