Elegant desk clock by Cartier, in the spirit of Art Deco style, characterized by geometric architecture and graphic decoration typical of creations inspired by the 1920s-1930s.
The rectangular case in gilded metal is embellished with stylized black geometric motifs and red decorative side bands, giving the whole a highly representative aesthetic of the Art Deco era revisited by the House of Cartier in its late XXᵉ century desk objects.
The square dial signed Cartier features a clear background with black Arabic numerals and peripheral minute track.
The clock rests on two stylized black feet and is topped by a decorative handle integrated into its architectural design.
It is equipped with a quartz movement with alarm function.
Three sapphire cabochons enable the various functions to be set:
time setting
alarm time setting
alarm stop
These cabochons, an aesthetic signature of the House of Cartier, add a precious, refined touch.
