Early 19th century Restauration-period green vert-de-mer marble clock with gilt bronze decoration. The clock is topped by a Cupid reading in patinated bronze. The ormolu face marks the hours in Roman numerals and is decorated with scrolls and foliage. The dial is signed: "LEDURE BRONZIER Hémon Her" (partially erased but legible). Signed in the back: "HEMON A PARIS". Cast by Ledure and Hémon clockmaker.
In overall good condition, the marble with small chips. The clockwork has been cleaned, serviced, and is in working condition.
