Rare pendule en bronze doré et marqueterie de buis sur amarante.
Le mouvement à fil de soie et sonnerie aux heures et demi-heures.
le cadran, supporté par deux sphynges en bronze doré, est en zinc guilloché et signé par : BERLAND à VENDÔME (1838-1850) -dictionnaire des horlogers Français, TARDY;
Il présente également un petit cadran indiquant les secondes.
Il est posé sur une borne en bois élégament marquetée, comportant un thermomètre ;
une plaque gravée indique, entre autres, qu'à Paris il avait fait -10° en 1740, et +30° en 1755!.
Tout est en parfait état de fonctionnement.
