Gilt bronze clock in the Return from Egypt style and from the Consulate period or the very beginning of the Empire (around 1800-1805). Circular in shape, the openwork dial is white enameled and has a blue surround decorated with golden stars. At the top, an eagle spreads its wings. The mechanism is placed on a circular openwork terrace supported by 4 sheaths with Egyptian heads topped with Nemes, ending in claw feet. Radiant mask pendulum.
Our precious pendulum is a pretty model, very finely executed with multiple qualitative details: beautiful matte and shiny mercury gilding, blue enameled dial. Our clock is typical of the Consulate period with the return from Egypt style, but it may also be a production from the beginning of the Empire, around 1805 due to the eagle at the top.
Our pendulum is in a remarkable state of freshness. No accident, fresh gilding without wear. The movement seems functional, but we haven't taken it to the watchmaker yet.
