    Superb original set of mantelpiece composed of a Portico half moon clock and a pair of tripod cassolettes forming candlesticks in white Carrara marble and chased and gilded bronzes in the Louis XVI style signed "Planchon à Paris" end of XIXth century.

    Architecture of a Cassolette ovoid form tripod candlestick (2): Rich set in the form of Athenian three heads of rams joined by garlands of falling flowers in chased and gilded bronzes, the base of the shaft decorated with laurel leaves and button, the whole is surmounted by the rounded element with two-way with its top a pomegranate exploded, all rests on a round base molding of pearls and rosette and three feet tops.
