These wall plaques were made by the Erdmann Schlegelmilch Porcelain Factory established in Suhl, Thuringia by Leonard Schlegelmilch in 1861, named after his father. The factory was successful for many years before World War I, but economic circumstances forced it to close in 1937. The maker's mark on these plates was used from 1920 onwards.
The central decoration is a transfer or a sticker, some wear is to be reported on this area in the form of small scratches. The borders appear to be hand painted. There is a small chip on the bottom edge of a plate. Please carefully review all photos and please contact me if you have any questions.
