Rare pair of large armchairs with slightly turbulent Queen's backs, in molded beech and finely carved with flowers, foliage, and acanthus leaves, the armrests consoles in a slight whiplash with ribbing ending in foliage, resting on arched feet, the front ends with acanthus leaves and cabochons.
Stamped Etienne Saint Georges, master in Paris, died in 1736.
