Brass and copper
H. 17; L. 22; W. 12 cm

Brass charcoal iron decorated with foliate friezes, dated 1747 and engraved "Utrecht" "PV WYK" on the hinged lid closing with a finely chased heron head hook lock.
The wooden handle, formerly attached to the two foliate scroll uprights, is missing.
The base is in copper.
