Attractive pocket lorgnon, or lorgnon to be worn as a necklace, a folding face-to-face with the optics stored in a shaped tortoiseshell case that doubles as a handle.
A fine, rather elegant Parisian work, hallmarked on the engraved silver mount, small hare's head, with 1819 on the 1st title. The goldsmith's hallmark is unknown to me.
    Good condition, some wear.
