Votive statue presenting a standing dignitary holding in one hand a rifle butt (broken) and in the other a powder bulb. He wears a barrel on his head which probably contained gunpowder. In his back, on the belt is represented a gourd, a satchel and a sword.
Wood, old patina of honey use, traces of white mineral dye. Ashanti, Ghana.
