    This colorful and highly expressive mask was featured in a famous Indonesian mask dance performance: the Barong.
    Barong theater masks are generally spectacular and highly representative of Balinese culture. Its menacing appearance, with bulging eyes, is believed to scare away evil spirits. These masks are considered sacred, and before each performance, they are sprinkled with holy water and presented with offerings. This demonstrates just how symbolic and meaningful this dance is, portraying the constant struggle between good and evil.
