Charming Napoleon III period perfume case or small fragrance cabinet in round gilt bronze, comprising four quarter-round bottles with their small, intricately worked bronze rings and faceted crystal stoppers.

The four bottles fit perfectly into their Louis XVI style gilt bronze stand, decorated with doves in love on quivers and flaming torches above a frieze of floral motifs and arabesques surrounding antique vases.
Please examine the photos carefully; the quality of the chasing is superb.

The entire piece is in excellent condition; there is just one stopper attached to its bottle with old perfume, which I hesitate to force open.

A very beautiful example of a four-bottle perfume case, a truly exquisite and precious object.
