This pair of earthenware jars were probably made around 1900 during the later part of the Meiji period. They are missing lids but function very nicely either as vases or jardinières. They are in good condition, have a nice shape and display well. The design is quite typical of export satsuma during this period and the quality is good, but please look at the photos and judge for yourselves. If you need more pictures or have any questions, please get in touch.
The jars are just under 16 cms high; the one with the mark on the base weighs 692g and the other weighs 758 g.
