Pair of patinated regula vases signed Auguste Moreau* (1834 - 1917) and stamped 'French Manufacturing'.
They feature a decoration of flowers, birds and dragonflies.
They have a container inside the neck.
Period: Late 19th century
Very good state. Slight accident on a flower.
External diameter 21 cm - Height 44 cm
Base diameter 13.5 cm.
* Auguste Moreau: He is the son of the sculptor Jean-Baptiste-Louis-Joseph Moreau and younger brother of the sculptors Hippolyte Moreau and Mathurin Moreau. Auguste Moreau mainly produced artistic bronzes. Several of his works are kept at the Troyes Museum of Fine Arts and the Bordeaux Museum of Fine Arts.
