Important pewter flower vase from the Art Nouveau period signed P.Jean.
This vase with curved contours and a strongly elliptical body has a flared and eventful spout from which streams of water emerge on the sides.
The walls of this elegant vase are carved with perfectly crafted lilies, narcissus and relief foliage.
Clinging to a rod, a young girl rests leaning forward on the large body of the vase. She holds a water lily in her left hand, which she gazes intently.
Lightly dressed in a drape, the graceful young lady reveals a childish face surrounded by supple hair held in a bun.
Poetic and charming, this unique work will delight lovers of delicate and romantic decorations.
