An elegant antique Louis XVI style desk inkwell, likely dating from the late 19th century.
Rectangular in shape, it features a substantial beveled crystal base, richly adorned with a gilt brass mount decorated with floral garlands, foliage, and finely crafted friezes. The piece rests on four small circular feet. A very fine decorative desk item, representative of the Louis XVI style of the second half of the 19th century.
Good overall condition, with signs of wear and patina consistent with its age. Dimensions: 11 × 8 × 9 cm.
