Antique rectangular inkwell in Boulle marquetry, combining red-tinted tortoiseshell and brass on a dark background, richly decorated with scrolls on all sides.
The whole is adorned with finely chased gilded bronzes, masks and sculpted feet.
It includes two ink cup holders and a central compartment.
Please note: small missing brass parts on the sides, visible on the photos.
