The marble is shaped and molded with a corbel-like profile.
A row of bronze beads accentuates its Louis XIV form.
In the center is a curved pen holder that also serves as a trinket tray.
On either side are two large basins with lids decorated with acanthus leaves and fluting.
It rests on small decorative bronze feet.
Late 19th century.
