A refined tabletop photo frame dating from the late 19th century, crafted from gilt metal and decorated in the Louis XVI style.
Rectangular in shape, it features an elegant frame punctuated by vegetal friezes and small bouquets of roses in relief, positioned in the center of each of the four sides. A thin row of pearls highlights the inner opening and adds a delicate finishing touch.
The reverse retains its articulated easel stand, also made of metal, allowing the frame to be displayed vertically on a chest of drawers, console table, or other table.
A lovely decorative object from the late 19th century, particularly well-suited for displaying an antique portrait, a family photograph, or a miniature.
Good overall condition considering its age.
Present is an antique patina, minor wear, and signs of age on the gilding. The glass also shows some visible marks.
