    Elegant rectangular jardinière in fine Arita porcelain, made in Japan around 1890-1910 for export, in the Japonism style in vogue in Europe. The decoration is typical of the Imari style: floral scenes, birds and geometric motifs hand-painted in a rich palette of cobalt blue, iron red and gold. Its curved shape with molded edge gives it a refined and rare character. Perfect condition, with no cracks or restorations.
