An eventful planter in blackened wood, inlaid with mother-of-pearl and chiseled ornaments in gilded brass.
This sublime Napoleon III planter has two moving sides and two rounded sides. Its soft shapes highlight numerous inlays of mother-of-pearl and brass in the shape of a stylized cross.
These patterns with iridescent reflections are framed by inlaid brass threads and rods affixed to all angles of this refined object.
Above, an openwork brass gallery follows its curved shapes. On each side, an elegant brass handle magnifies the whole. In the lower part, a raised rim underlined by a brass rod surmounts four ball feet also in brass.
This Napoleon III planter has an inner tank in Zinc lacquered in soft green and black on the outside.
Richly ornamented and in perfect condition thanks to a state-of-the-art restoration, this unique planter will delight lovers of exceptional objects.
