A remarkable episcopal crosier shaft in repoussé silver, adorned with numerous cabochons of various colored hardstones. It features a large knot with tracery and angels, and a crosier containing a Virgin and Child in Glory.

A magnificent piece of Central European goldsmithing from the mid-19th century.

Bearing the silver hallmark 13 löthige (812/1000), used in the Austro-Hungarian Empire from 1806 to 1867.
