The Galerie le Jardin Des Moines, specializing in religious antiques and sacred art, presents a Representation of Christ with the Sacred Heart - circa 1900

A polychrome plaster cast from the early 20th century, with vibrant polychromy, depicting the Sacred Heart of Jesus, standing and blessing with his right hand, while his left hand points to his flaming, radiant heart surmounted by the cross. The sculpture features striking polychromy, with a red cloak edged in green, a light-colored tunic, and a gilded heart. The treatment of the face, hair, and drapery demonstrates meticulous craftsmanship, characteristic of early 20th-century religious statuary. Christ, despite bearing the symbols of the Passion, is here resplendent with life! Dimensions: 75 cm x 28 cm. Excellent condition.
