This polychrome and gilded monstrance is typically Italian. With its rococo ornamentation, scrolls and motifs, it features in its center, on a red background, a bagged relic of Saint Boni, Martyr.
This is probably Saint Boniface.
On the back are the traditional seals. The reliquary base on which our piece was placed is independent of this lot.
Dimensions 70 cm by 26 cm.
Good condition.
