A silver and vermeil chapel set from the very late 19th or early 20th century. This beautiful liturgical set in silver and vermeil, made by the Parisian master silversmith Lucie Goldstein, comprises a chalice, its paten, and two crystal cruets with silver and vermeil mounts, presented in its original case.

The richly crafted chalice features a chased decoration of scrolling foliage and plant motifs, embellished with three enamels.
The two cut crystal cruets rest in finely worked silver and vermeil mounts, with handles and stoppers adorned with foliate motifs. The set is preserved in its original, albeit worn, red velvet-lined case.

The maker's mark LG accompanied by a star, attributed to Lucie Goldstein, is associated with the Minerva hallmark.

Lucie Goldstein is documented as a Parisian goldsmith from 1896.
Chalice: 23 cm; paten: 13.5 cm in diameter.
Weight of the chalice, paten, and lavabo (excluding cruets): 573 grams.
The brass elevation bell is a later addition.
    Very good condition.
