Statue of the Virgin and Child in bisque porcelain. It rests on a gold starry globe decorated with the monogram AM (Ave Maria), placed on a porcelain base gilded with fine gold. Porcelain from Paris, Empire Restoration Period, early 19th century around 1820-1830 (Charles X).

Beautiful object of piety, ideal in the "back of a castle", to complete an early 19th century decoration, one of those small details which create an authentic atmosphere.

Very good general condition, no cracks, no breakage, fresh gilding
