Large oval tray in black sheet metal, Napoleon III period, 76.5 x 60cm
The rim is adorned with gilded sunburst motifs, between two gold fillets. The center of the tray is adorned with a medallion view of a lively seaside scene.
Good overall condition, with wear marks, small black paint chips here and there, wear to gilding and decoration, and a few knocks. Take a close look at the photos, which form an integral part of the description.
