This rectangular tray dating from the 1930s is typical of the Bauhaus. Its composition is marked by an asymmetry of the decoration, however including regular geometric patterns, pure lines and a detachment from the ornament characteristic of the Bauhaus taste.
The top is in black lacquered wood inlaid with aluminum slats and the grips are in chromed metal. It has some bites, scratches and lacquer jumps.
