Headboard – 1960s Design Style – Cerused Wood – 200 cm

Large format headboard in cerused wood, featuring a characteristic sandy beige hue from the surface treatment.

The facade decoration is structured in ten rectangular compartments organized in two rows of five columns. Each compartment consists of a beveled frame with 45° miter cuts, forming an inverted pyramid in high relief around a flat central panel, creating a three-dimensional depth effect. The whole is framed by a molded peripheral frame that reinforces the monumental character of the piece. The carpentry work is of precise execution, with clean joints and rigorously cut angles. The style is part of the 1960s-1970s design movement with brutalist geometric decoration, with no formal attribution established to date. No restoration work is to be noted. Overall condition very good. Dimensions: H. 75 cm × W. 200 cm × D. 7 cm. Weight: 25 kg. Excluding delivery.
