    Antique Louis XIV Neapolitan chest of drawers in walnut root with rosewood reserves.

    The surface, entirely in walnut root, plays on the arrangement of the veins and the contrasting chiaroscuro of the different inlays.

    The decoration is typical of 18th-century Neapolitan style, with the classic contrasting reserve and the coat-of-arms on the lock.

    The two corners and the top are highlighted by elegant wood borders arranged abreast.

    The three-drawer front is accentuated by a beautiful movement, also repeated on the sides, with corner shoulders typical of Neapolitan cabinetmakers of the period.

    The two cabriole legs are covered with bronze socks and linked by a mixtilinear belt.

    General condition: Restored by our master craftsmen using the traditional handmade shellac and alcohol method.
