    Rare veneer chest of drawers by André Sornay (1902-2000). Base and handles in black lacquered wood with gilded brass nailing. Six drawers. Trace of signature on the base.
    André Sornay is one of the most famous cabinetmakers of the Art Deco period. He was based in Lyon, France. He patented his famous and very recognizable gilded brass nailing.
